Call to let us know when you are scheduled to arrive
in Redding, we'll discuss our options and set a starting point for our
excursion. Meeting points may change, depending on the season and are
always within close proximity of where our guests are staying.
From Sacramento, CA
Sacramento is a great starting point for your
adventure. A major airport and only a two hour drive to Redding is convenient
for the traveler or Sacramento resident.
Get yourself on the 5 North and stay on it! The 5 runs right through Redding
and there are plenty of hotels, motels and bed-and-breakfasts within close
proximity of the interstate.
From San Francisco,
CA
Estimated time, 3 1/2 hours. That's right, only
3 1/2 hours to world-class trout fishing and an experience that will last
a life time.
Take the I-80 East toward Oakland, you will travel on the 80 for fifty
to sixty miles. Merge onto the 505 North, toward Winters/Redding. The
505 will turn into the 5 North and you will be staying on the 5 until
you reach Redding.
From Reno, NV
Tired of fishing the usual spots around Tahoe and north-western Nevada?
Get your gear together, you are going on a road trip. Only five to six
hours away is the fine fishing of northern California.
Take the 80 East to 395 North via exit number 15. (toward Susanville)
US-395 becomes CA-36. Take CA36 to CA-44 West and the 44 will run right
into Redding.
From Oregon
Fishermen from as far away as Portland, Oregon come to visit us and catch
fish. It's a bit of a hike from Portland, around seven hours. However,
Medford, Oregon is much closer. Medford and surrounding area residents
are only a 2 1/4 hour drive from Redding. Medford also boasts an international
airport.
Take Interstate 5. Travel south for about 145 miles. The 5 takes you to
Redding and several hotels, motels and bed-and-breakfasts are a short
distance from the freeway.
